Black/White hookgrip weightlifting straps

Very heavy duty heavyweight nylon lifting straps. The total material length is 23″ (although the straps themselves are 11.5″, making for an easier release on snatch misses) long x 1″ wide. The strap ends are sewn closed in a “Box X” pattern (see photo) using a high-end machine designed for commercial application — they will not come apart for a very very long time, if ever. These straps will last a very long time.

Each pair has one right strap and one left strap, determined by how the ends overlap. The leather label also is oriented so you’ll be able to read it when wearing the strap correctly.

As always, before you use straps on heavy snatch attempts, teach yourself how to fail and properly release the straps. These straps are much easier to release than most but it is still possible to get caught in them if you are not familiar with releasing them. In general, straps are not recommending when cleaning except by the most experienced lifters and even then, they can hurt themselves.

ABOUT STRAP LEVELS

We have four levels of our leather straps (named after weightlifting plate colors), depending on level of customization — all are the same materials and quality, the levels just refer to color and logo/text choices:

• Green level: These are straps where we produce in bulk, with no customization. These are the cheapest straps due to the predetermined logo/color choices. Over time we will add/remove options from the Green level, depending on various factors — the primary factor being which straps we think can sell in large quantities for a given logo/color scheme.
• Yellow level: These straps allow you to change the logo on the leather label, however, these are straps where we have already printed labels in bulk before the order is placed. Once the order is placed, we attach the label and ship the order. This takes a little bit longer per pair compared to Green level but allows us to offer some level of customization without any major inventory or production process drawbacks.
• Blue level: These straps allow you to choose the nylon color, the leather color and a custom printed hookgrip logo on the label. In this case, we will print the strap label after the order is placed. However they are limited to black sewing thread, which saves us time by keeping the sewing process the same as the other orders from the day — we are only investing additional time in the label process. The leather options will vary over time as we get more/less colors/type in stock. The custom printed label is customizable with your choice of hookgrip logo (country, state, other design that we have already made, etc) however the text must remain as “hookgrip” — this saves us time because we will not need have any design phase or computer work required. Blue level straps will be online by late Sept 2021.
• Red level: These straps are fully customizable. You can choose the same items as the blue level but, in addition, you can choose from several sewing colors and the text is customizable as well. We can support about 10 characters on one line, more text would have to be on a separate line. These straps can have about a one week lead time and they will have the highest cost due to the level of time investment in the production process. We anticipate having these online in October 2021 but it could slip if something doesn’t go smoothly with our testing.
