PHOTO NOTE:
We are using the black/black photo just to make sure this product doesn’t get confused with another product on the store. This product is not for the black logo hookgrip, this product is for a custom non-hookgrip logo, most typically a gym logo.
PRICING:
- The pricing on these is higher than retail up to and including 5 pairs.
- From 6 pairs to 10 pairs, the pricing is the same as retail.
- From 11 pairs up, the price starts to drop from retail.
- The quantity applies across all three types of neoprene sleeves that we carry: 7mm 3.0, 9mm V Cut and 9mm Long. So you can get 3 of one type, 5 of another type and 3 of another type and qualify for bulk pricing with a discount from retail.
- You can check exact pricing by selecting a size on this page, before adding to cart. The dynamic pricing will display below the add to cart button.
LOGO INFO:
- We do not have an image upload function built into the site on purpose — we will need to email with you about the logo regardless, so you can just place the order and expect to get an email from us about what information we need to proceed. Obviously if we can’t do it for whatever reason or you aren’t happy with the options, we can refund the order before anything gets made.
- This is primarily for things like gym logos. We can’t do anything trademarked or where the logo usage is not approved by the logo owner. Depending on the logo we may ask you for some proof of permission.
- We can do something as simple as a text name or similar but we do ask that you make the artwork, not just submit a text-based description of what you’d like.
- Artwork is best submitted as either a high res PNG or a vector-based format. Things like a low quality pixelated JPG will not print well.
- Our printer that we use for this uses CMYK inks. What this means is that some computer colors (which are RGB) cannot be reproduced — for instance, we can’t print neon colors. While CMYK is fine for most things, it definitely has limits and we also can’t always hit an exact color without a good bit of testing, which we are not pricing into this product. Colors tend to look a bit lighter on the knee sleeve than on a computer screen because the ink has white ink underneath of it, which lightens the top layer of ink. So we tend to darken prints slightly to get closer to the color, but it won’t be an exact dead match.
- If you really need exact colors, we can do a bunch of test prints to get closer, but we would need to charge extra for this, both because of materials and time. So just note this color requirement in your order note and we will let you know what sort of testing cost there would be. Testing will also extend the lead time, depending on how many tests we need to do. But remember that non CMYK colors (like neons) are not something we can do just due to the ink, no matter how much testing we do.
- Logos that are circular, square or close to a 1:1 ratio tend to look best. A very wide aspect logo (like the circle + hookgrip logo at the top of this site) would not look great. We can still print it but we do run into some problems with some aspect ratios. The closer to 1:1, the better, generally speaking.
- Very thin lines or very fine details will not print well on the knee sleeve and will not hold up as well over time. For instance, we do not recommending printing something that will work out to be a long 1mm wide line at the print size of the logo on the sleeve. So we may recommend simplifying a complicated logo, thickening some lines or similar. It just depends on the artwork, we need to see it to make any possible change recommendations.
LEAD TIMES:
- Because of the custom logo, the lead time on this is obviously longer than a normal set of knee sleeves in our store.
- We can’t say a lead time from the time the order is placed for sure because we may need to go back and forth with you a few times on logo files, things like that.
- Once the logo is 100% finalized, it will take us between 1 and 3 weeks to ship, with 2 weeks being “normal” but, if it’s a slower time of year, as fast as 1 week is possible. And if it’s a busy time of the year (like during Black Friday) it will probably take around 3 weeks to ship.
GENERAL INFO:
- Sold as pairs (two sleeves). Individual sleeves are not available.
- Made in black fabric, black seam and a custom printed logo with a black and white HG logo sublimated interior.
- Made with high-quality 7mm 100% SCR neoprene.
- Provides each knee with support, warmth, and compression while weightlifting.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
- Because of the customized nature of this product, we cannot do returns and exchanges.
- We will typically overprint logos — like if we need 30, we will print maybe 40, just in case something goes wrong in the printing process.
- Because of this, in the event that you order, say 11, but 1 doesn’t fit correctly, we may be able to print 1 more or 2 more for you. This will just be case by case, we can’t guarantee it, but it is possible we will have some extra logos. So if you need another size for a pair or two, you can submit a request via email and you’ll be charged the same price as you paid for the other pairs, plus the normal shipping cost, for any additional prints.
REORDERS
- We do plan on offering a discount for re-orders, depending on the quantity. This is because setting up the logo sizing/artwork/etc will already be done. Any change in logo would negate a reorder discount because of the aforementioned setup time savings not being relevant anymore.
- The details on this program are TBD and will be announced at a later date.
WEIGHT-BASED SIZING
We find that weight is the best method to determine sizing. But you should read the information below this chart as well, as there are exceptions.
Size | Male Weight (kg) | Female Weight (kg) |
---|---|---|
XS | 40-55kg | 35-50kg |
XS/S | 46-60kg | 45-55kg |
S | 50-70kg | 50-60kg |
S/M | 60-75kg | 55-66kg |
M | 65-85kg | 60-75kg |
M/L | 72-90kg | 67-84kg |
L | 80-100kg | 75-92kg |
L/XL | 88-107kg | 82-100kg |
XL | 95-115kg | 89-107kg |
2XL | 110-130kg | 100-118kg |
3XL | 125-145kg | 112-130kg |
- There is overlap because both weight and height play a factor in the size of your legs. As an example, a 100kg male who is 6’0″/183cm may require a smaller size than a 100kg male who is 5’8″/173cm.
- If you buy on the smaller end, if you’re a normal weight for your height, they may not fit. For example, if you’re 70kg, a normal height and you buy small, the sleeves may not fit because that’s on the high side weight-wise for that size. It will only work for people who are tall and with skinny legs for a 70kg bodyweight. So a person weighing 70kg fitting into a size small is the exception rather than the rule, most people at 70kg would be better off with a small/medium.
- Another factor is how strong you are. The stronger your hands, the easier it will be to get on sleeves which fit tight. If you’re not used to putting on tight sleeves, we’d recommend being conservative with the tightness as there is some technique and finesse involved. If you have more experience, you may be able to get away with a tighter sleeve if you’re looking for maximum compression.
- Lastly, these are general recommendations, so some people will fall outside of these ranges. If someone combines to have small knees, skinny legs, expertise with knee sleeves, wants a tight fit, etc — they could easily fall outside of these ranges. These ranges are meant to apply to 95% of users.
